Baked Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 Sweet Potato
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ oz or 15 grams of Sana Chia seeds
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Italian Herbs (oregano, thyme and basil) or topping of choice (curry, chipotle, chilli, etc)

Procedure

  • Peal the Sweet Potato
  • Cut the sweet potato in small squares
  • Add 3 tbsp olive oil to the potato squares
  • Grind the ½ oz of Sana Chia seeds
  • Add Salt, Pepper and Italian herbs of choice to ground chia seeds
  • Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees
  • Place in oven for 30 minutes
  • After the first 15 minutes of cooking stir the potato cubes with the dry mix so that a different side of the cubes is exposed to the oven heat, and also to allow for better herb coverage
  • When finished cooking, allow for the potato cubes to cool down for 3 minutes before tasting and enjoying!
