Sana Chia Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 tbsp organic bee honey (or use other kinds of syrup or honeys for a fun recipe, the more sugar you add, the less healthy, but if you keep the recipe close to the original formula, you’ll end up with a very healthy jam)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Procedure

  • Wash and clean your blueberries
  • In a pot, add blueberries and set it to low heat for cooking
  • Let the berries cook for 5 minutes, stirring it slowly
  • After 5 minutes, mash the blueberries with a fork or potato masher
  • Add the honey, chia seeds and vanilla extract
  • Stir and let cook for about 3-5 minutes more
  • Turn off stove and let the jam cool to room temperature
  • Store jam in a jar and store it in the fridge
  • This will make about ½ a cup of jam. You can make more by simply adding more ingredients proportionally to the mix.
